Then [my] doctor told me that a lady walked into his office the other day. She is 43 years. old. She thought she was going through menopause. Well Dr took blood test on her. Found out she is 25 weeks pregnant. She didn't look pregnant and Man oh Man was she SURPRISED!!! I'd be too.

I was just put in touch with a friend of a friend, who got pregnant naturally on her 44th birthday. She had been through such a long and harrowing time TTC that she had all but got divorced because of it. She stopped all ART and got pregnant 7 weeks later. She is now half way into her pregnancy and carrying a healthy baby. Here's to miracles for us all!

I have a friend who at 44 had an accidental surprise pregnancy. She was most definitely not TTC! I would imagine that she would be hurt by such conjecture [that she used DE]. She did however began menopause only about one year later, and her [periods] ceased completely approx. one year after that. Right under the wire for her!

At my sister's church, a 47 year old woman recently gave birth to twins (don't know any specifics around conception - assisted or not). The other interesting thing my sister noted is that - the week after delivery - this woman was the mother of the bride as her daughter got married.
