Expecting my 8th child in April at 45
My 21 year old daughter is expecting her first baby on September 12th, and I am expecting my 8th and final child on April 20th - Proud 45y old Mum Of 7

My great grandma had her last child when my grandma was pregnant with her first. So my aunt and great uncle are only 3 months apart.
So I think it does happen alot.

I would say it happens more often than you think. Not so much now as it did when my parents were born. My grandma had 4 more kids AFTER her oldest daughter had her 1st two! (It's a big family).
I know a couple people who have aunts or uncles who are 1-4 years older or YOUNGER than them!

My dad was an "unplanned" late pregnancy (grandma was in her late 40's). He was a bright and healthy baby, a wonderful son, and the first in his family to graduate from college (that was rare in the 30's)

My grandmother thought she had entered menopause when she became pregnant with my mother. She was 44 years old (1908) at the time.
Grandma Sadie said that she "knew she would have a baby every spring when Billy 'got that look in his eye' but oh it was wonderful, because how I loved those pretty babies!"
