Chiropractor's wife, 47, pregnant on an oops!
By the way, my Chiropractor's wife is 47 and her daughter is 2.5. She got pregnant on an oops, and was totally shocked. So it DOES happen!!!

There is a group on Yahoo of older moms/pregnancy after 45. There are moms on there getting pregnant over 45. I haven't been on there long, but there is a 46 year old mom with a 1 and 3 year old, and she got pregnant naturally both times. So it does happen.

Cheryl Lindsey-Selhoff of Gentle Spirit magazine fame had her youngest when she was 46, and I believe Caren is at least 44.

If it would help any - I will be just weeks away from my 48th birthday when I have this little one. She will be my 6th baby and only 2 of my other children were born in my 30's. Everyone else was born in my 40's.
Before this one, my 2 1/2 year old daughter was born when I was 45. These last 2 babies were complete shockers. I had given up and only BD [baby danced - had s*x] when I felt ovulation pain.

I am 46, starting my 9th week, and all is going well so far. This is my "first" pregnancy.........I conceived with Clomid/IUI [intrauterine insemination] , and I will be 47 when this baby is born.
