Being pregnant at 45 is awesome for me! I had my tubal reversal January 2005 and am pregnant with a son now. My due date is May 27, 2006. I was told I could be pregnant within a year, and, I am! The only regret I have is that I didn't do it sooner.

During my pre-op meeting with Dr B, I asked about age, he said he had done a 45 and 50 year old the day before, and his oldest tubal reversal patient was 52!

So the first thing I say to the doc is, please tell me I'm not your oldest OB patient, he laughed and said actually I wasn’t, but close. His oldest was a 54 year old, next was a 50 year old and then a 48 year old, I've been given the honour of being his 4th oldest patient at 47. Thought you'd all love to hear that!

I remember a while back someone asking if anyone had more than one baby after 40 so I thought I'd post now.... I had my 2nd little boy 2 weeks ago. I gave birth to son #1 at 40.10 and son #2 at 44.4 -- so, it does happen.
