Only woman on maternity ward who was a member of AARP

In March of 1997, Adrienne gave birth to identical twin boys making her "the only woman on the maternity ward who was a member of AARP". She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Billy Van Zandt, the twins, William and Walker, and her older son, Cody.

I'm 43 (will be 44 when baby is born), 4 1/2 months pregnant with my 2nd, and awaiting results from my amnio. I, too, am anxious about the results, but the odds are still with us, so I guess we should keep our chins up! For any who are concerned, both my amnios (I also had one with my first child) went well. I had no pain whatsoever, just a little pressure.

I have just found out I am pregnant with my 3rd. I am almost 45 and my previous 2 are 18 and 15 respectively. I am healthy, but am terrified about complications with the baby.

I'm almost 46 and due May 10th. I had my last baby when I was 24, he's 21 years old and my first baby is 26! I had all the regular blood tests and u/s testing, but had already decided to forgo the amnio, no matter what the results of my other tests. According to my doctors, everything is just fine.

I am termed high risk, but have had no problems beyond the morning sickness. So for me, being high risk means I get to see the baby more often since I have an u/s every 4/-6 weeks to check on his growth. I can't say I'm not nervous or anxious sometimes, but mostly I am trying to enjoy this. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and God never gives us more than we can handle.

I am 44 years old and expecting my 3rd child. I have two sons 23 and 18. I can't even begin to tell you how frightened I am. I am remarried and my new husband has never had any children. He is on A CLOUD right now, yet I am not feeling very optimistic, especially after reading all the statistics!! I am having a CVS test done this week.
