I even know a woman in my prenatal group who is 47, and having twins! Go for it! You'll be a great mom, and don't listen to what others say. You'll raise your child your own way. I had my first son at 40, and now am expecting another son and I am 45 (my husband is 48). What wonderful surprises! We had hoped to be able to have children a little earlier in our life, but that is just how things work out.

We are very happy. We are blessed. And we have had excellent support from our friends and family. Good luck and many blessings to you and your family. Enjoy your life at any age. Age is not important to your child. Have fun!

I am only 46 years old. Yes, you are reading correctly 46! and very proud of them. My husband and I are expecting our first baby, we are both thrilled and can't wait for our baby to arrive (due date is August 1, 2005).

We are more than ready to have this baby (emotionally, financially & physically). We have more experience now than 20 years ago.

Do not listen to people with negative ideas.
