Also, this is cool... My OB doctor got pregnant at 45, and had her daughter at age 46. Perfectly healthy girl, an honour student, etc. So it is possible!!!

My mother was one of these surprises. My grandmother went to the doctor, complaining that she felt like she had when she was pregnant - over 18 years earlier. The doctor told her that she must be going through The Change and never believed that she could be pregnant. I guess doctors haven't changed much over the years!

And I had a friend who told me his wife got pregnant at age 55, after she had spent years of going through hot flashes, bad moods, little and varying periods. You just never know....
