I thought I would respond to the post over here, I had my boys at age 46 and it was the best pregnancy. I am pregnant again, 9 weeks already. M.A.

M.A. goes on to say.... I thought I'd bring a smile to your face, be ready for another, because I can tell you having babies in your 40's (or more) will keep you young!

When I was a kid I was always amazed at the story of one of my mom's friends. [The woman] had tried to conceive for years and anyway she [passed menopause] then got pregnant at around age 60 and had a healthy baby. -- T.K.

Well I am the oldest mom, I delivered my sweet little boy on 6/1/05 by c-sec and I was 46 1/2 at that time and he was 6 weeks early. ---- Patty

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.

Also had first and only (thus far!) baby at age 44. Am now 48 and husband and I would love to have another. Have had 2 MC's, but not yet discouraged.
