My name is Krista and I am a 51 year old mother of 3 1/2 yr. old twins. I had my beautiful children 2 days before I turned 48.

This is my 3rd pregnancy in the last 3 years. I am 45 years old and have 4 children and my fiance and I are trying to make through this pregnancy....

I just wanted to add that I saw my OB today, and I asked him what is the oldest woman he has in his practice who has had a baby. He said that he has a patient who conceived naturally, and gave birth at age 49. They were trying. He also said that he sees around 4 women per month for amnios who are 44 to 46 years old.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
