I am 45 years old and 31 weeks pregnant.

I also have a four-year-old son.

I have had two miscarriages in the last three years.

All pregnancies were conceived naturally.

I am 44 years old, and I also have a two-year-old little boy.

I just found I am pregnant again, and I am so thrilled.

-- Sandy

Christi is my business partner and she just had baby #12 at 44 years old.

She thinks she will probably have a few more babies, all natural conceptions.

I had my second child at 41 years old.

But I did have a harder time conceiving this baby.

I'll be 45 years old when I give birth, due October 28th.

I have had such an easy pregnancy so far.

-- Tammy

A year ago at 44 years old, I gave birth to my first baby.

He was a beautiful boy named Daniel Jacob.

by Rachel Dratch

-- Her career at a low point, Rachel Dratch suddenly had time for yoga, dog- sitting, learning Spanish - and dating.

After all, what did a forty-something single woman living in New York have to lose?

Resigned to childlessness but still hoping for romance, Dratch was out for drinks with a friend when she met John.

Handsome and funny, after only six months of dating long-distance, he became the inadvertent father of her wholly unplanned, undreamed-of child, and moved to New York to be a dad.

With riotous humor, Dratch recounts breaking the news to her bewildered parents, the awe of her single friends, and the awkwardness of a baby-care class where the instructor kept tossing out the f-word.

Filled with great behind-the-scenes anecdotes from Dratch's time on SNL, Girl Walks into a Bar is a refreshing version of the happily ever after story that proves female comics - like best sellers Tina Fey and Chelsea Handler - are truly having their moment.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
