I am 51 & have a 2y old boy

My name is Peggy. I am 51, and have a 2 year old boy. I'm so glad to meet you! I joined this group hoping to meet other 50 something moms of babies, toddlers, or preschoolers.

I do not personally know anyone as old as me with such a young child so I went on-line hoping to meet other old mom's to swap stories and advice with.

My name is Ellen and I found out that I am pregnant... again at 50, 51 in May. BIG surprise!!!

All my baby stuff has long since gone to others, and I quit working at day-cares after 15 years with joy at the prospect of finally... NO MORE Diapers!



BUT... God has another plan for my life, that seems to involve diapers again. My youngest will be 5 in May, and I was so looking forward to re-entering the workforce without daycare fees to worry about... but nnnnnnnnnnooooooooo.

It's wonderful to hear from other older mums. I am nearly 50. I have

I am so happy that I found this board. I was looking all around for answers to our questions about having another child in our home. I realize now that THIS is exactly the place. I had my first and only child at 39 years old.

Now, at 49 we are thinking about welcoming another little one into our hearts! We are very young 49'ers, and I have a first cousin that had twins at 51, so my role models tell me it's quite possible.

I took a home pregnancy test last night and it was positive. I turned 47 on Sunday.



This is my sixth pregnancy. I have a 27 year old daughter, 25 year old daughter, 6 year old son, 5 year old daughter, and I miscarried Sept 16, 2003.

My husband is about to turn 67. We have 16 grandchildren.
