I have a friend who had her babies at 47 & 50 ... Went in thinking menopause to only leave being corrected on that score. LOL! She has a grandchild almost as old as her youngest

Oh and my grandmother had her last one when she was 48. My mom just told me that today.. I can't ask too many baby questions, it makes them wonder what I am up to!

Pregnant at 44 - I am not due until mid June, and just found out that I was pregnant a few days ago. I have a 2 year old daughter and remember feeling very much an anomaly when pregnant with her. I know that there are many other "midlife" mothers-to-be out there and I would enjoy talking with any other moms that are in my position.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
