I am 45 & my baby boy is due in May

I am 45 years old, and my baby boy is due on May 27th. That is the same day my youngest birth son graduates from high school! So I hope Abraham comes early so I don't have to miss graduation.

I'm not the 45 year old from this list, but I was on the last one. My due date is 12-14. I had TR in October and had HSG and one round of Clomid right before BFP.

I was told at age 35 by doctors in my area that having a reversal was "risky" and I'd be better with IVF. At age 44, in October 2005, Dr. Berger performed my TR and now, at age 45, I am 10 weeks pregnant. Even when I told my OB/gyn I was going to have the TR done, she tried to talk me into IVF. I think she's still shocked that I did it!

I too was in the best shape of my life when I started this journey. I worked out with weights and cardio 3 to 5 days a week for two years before I had the TR. Just follow your heart!!!

You older mom's just rock....... I gave birth to my twins at 47...... There is no substitute for life experience in pregnancy or parenting a child. Congratulations one and all! - Margaret Anne
