There was a lady locally that gave birth at 53

I recall some years ago there was a lady locally (Nottinghamshire I think) that gave birth (natural conception) at 53....... The details are pretty sketchy to me...... But I do remember it being on our local news channel.

I watched the TV program Britain’s Oldest Mums and Dads, and there was definitely a lady on there over 50, and that wasn’t made up because I saw her. I say good luck whatever your age, as long as you are physically and mentally able to look after a baby/child.

I did acupuncture twice a month for 6 months, took vile Chinese herbs for 4 months, did yoga three times a week and Pilates once a week, cut down on caffeine and alcohol to just weekends and celebrations, used PreSeed when BDing around 'O', ate freshly prepared foods as much as possible and felt happy we were giving it the best possible opportunity.

Now pregnant with first baby at 45!!

I think not stressing about it is very important and just tweak your odds with whatever is comfortable for you.

A 48-year-old went to her ob/gyn because she was having problems, thought it might be menopause. You probably guessed it, she was pregnant. She was about 7 months pregnant! The baby was born a month later. Her doctor was surprised too.

My mom had a relative who got married late in life, and had her first child at 48. There are always these kinds of stories.
