If it's any comfort, I'll be about a month away from my 44th birthday when this little one arrives. My mother-in-law and mom both had babies in their mid-40's (44 & 45) ... and one of the "grandma's" of the family had a baby when she was almost 50.

As you know I am pregnant. I am 44 1/2 and this baby is due just before my 45th birthday.

43 here.. will be 44 when I deliver. I could not have been more surprised when I found out that my husband and I had conceived the old fashioned way...especially after spending $75 K on IVF!!!
Now we're broke, but pregnant.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
