I am 46, just found out I was pregnant
I am 45, almost 46, and just found out I was pregnant last week. I am going through the exact same emotions as you. One minute I am really excited, and the next minute I'm scared. Mostly I'm scared. Really scared. I can barely believe I'm pregnant at this age. - Susan

I am 45 years old, and am due to deliver in early May. To say I was surprised, would be an understatement. I remarried at 40, and tried to get pregnant for a few years. I had a miscarriage early on, and went the route of fertility doctors, etc. with no success and, in reality, they didn't give me much reason to hope. We never used protection, whoever thought we would need it at this stage? I was prepared for menopause.

I'll be 44 next Friday! I'll be 33 weeks pregnant tomorrow. The first half of the pregnancy, I was really worried about complications and problems. Didn't really even let myself think too much about actually having the baby, etc. I blame the doctors partly for this, as they acted like I was in a dire situation! - Julinda

I am 44 years old and my husband is 43. We both had prior marriages with no children, and so we started our chance at a family late. Our healthy baby girl arrived on 10/31/05 and she is a great gift to us both!

Hi I'm 46 1/2, just found out I'm pregnant with my first baby on Dec 21! Not been to Dr yet, but we've decided it's a gift and a miracle! We were not trying (gave up on that years ago) but not trying to avoid either. - Kambri
