I’m 47 and 4 months pregnant. Second marriage, 3 from my first, all in their late 20’s

I fell pregnant naturally at 44 and experienced no problems other than blood pressure problems, which many younger women have as well. I have suffered only one miscarriage, and was probably TTC total of 3 years. We were lucky and it appears my eggs are good.
Except now I have a screaming 7 week old and a bad cold, and a bored 2 year old with her daddy out of the country.

I turned 43 in July 2003 and got pregnant the following month. This time things went wonderfully. I had a fabulous, uneventful pregnancy and delivered a beautiful, healthy baby boy right on the due date, May 2004, just two months shy of my 44th birthday.

I was almost 44 when my last one was born, so I can relate quite well.

My grandmother was a few days shy of 47 when she had her 10th

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
