Tried for 10y, at 50 pregnant on her own with twins!!!
My friend had a friend who had tried for 10 years do get pregnant and did IVF and all the stuff we do and at 50 she got pregnant on her own with twins!!! It can happen without donor eggs. It was more common than we think.

My older sister tried for 6 months to conceive (first child) and started to see an acupuncturist and became pregnant 2 cycles later a month before her 42nd birthday. She miscarried at 12 weeks and took some time off TTC but then did 4 more cycles while still doing the acupuncture and conceived again 2 months before her 43rd birthday. The baby is due in 4 weeks and my sister is 43 1/2 years old.

I think Dr. Sher boasts of a 48 year old who he was successful with via IVF, and that's quite a miracle...
