I am also 43 and around 11 weeks pregnant. I don’t think you ever stop worrying. Just take each day as it comes. I have been worrying over every little thing. I get through each day, and just smile to myself.
I have been a nervous wreck the whole time. My last 2 pregnancies were not successful and as much as this is a shock - I am excited. I haven’t told anyone yet other than the father, who is not happy about it.
I have 3 children, and my youngest just graduated high school. I cant believe I am going to start all over again.

I'm 45 and just discovered I am pregnant. I was trying, but did not fully believe that I could get pregnant naturally at my age. My other child is 20, and in college!

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
