This will be my 4th child at 45

I was just wondering how many of us are actually 45 or over? This will be my fourth child if everything goes as to plan, but I'm finding this pregnancy a bit more difficult both physically and mentally -- although this baby was wanted and planned.- Jill

We didn't plan on having our third - but fifteen years after the first - I had our third baby at 45. A complete surprise - I actually didn't even know that I was pregnant because I didn't have any morning sickness - and I was so busy taking the other kids to their various activities.

My only problem was a little placenta previa - but that probably would have happened with any additional pregnancies because I had C-sections with the first two.

Sometimes it's a little tiring but it's a lot more fun because we're so relaxed with the third - he goes everywhere. So don't doubt doing it if you think that another will complete your family

My grandmother didn't start having kids until she was in her mid 30's, and had her last at 47. She had 8 children.

I have a friend who was told she could never have children, and therefore, never used birth control. At the age of 42 she found herself pregnant. (same husband all along) at 43 she had her 2nd.

She had some pre-eclampsia with #2, but both kids were/are big and healthy!

You know Gary's ex-wife and her husband had twins when she was 46... Nothing wrong with that, or any other ages having a child... As you mentioned...THEY'RE GIFTS!!!!
