She was having their 1ST child at 55

My sister-in-law was in a childbirth class when pregnant with her youngest daughter (at age 41), and there was a lady there she said was about 55 and she and her hubby were having their FIRST child. Didn't know if it was natural or not - but looked healthy and happy pregnancy.

I never met any of these women who had babies at 50+ personally, but there are some, and more stories of course on this site!

I am also an Older Mom - 52 and pregnant. Very excited though. Second marriage - husband was never married and wanted kids and so there you have it. I have two kids - 23 and 21, and really looking forward to this adventure. - Barb

I have to share that I have always had light period and it never stopped me from getting pregnant 8 times (I have 5 living children with the last being conceived naturally, and born when I was 43)

I even got pregnant at almost 45, when I had only had my period back for 6 months, and it was very light.

Every time I'm ready to give up, I think of Jodi and how she DID give up and 7 months later at 43, she is now 3 months pregnant.
