I am 45 & 12w pregnant with #6

You don't have to go to another site to see all the over 40's having babies ---just look around here at this forum!!!

I am 45 and 12 weeks pregnant with #6 right now. I don't post on here because quite honestly there just isn't a lot of traffic. There are several of us over 40 and pregnant in the other areas of this forum.

I have been pleasantly surprised this time too that I have not had ONE person say anything at all to me about my age (well with the exception of the one wierdo at church yesterday but I will not include her here) The doctor never said a word, my midwife didn't even ask my age --- my 70 year old mom never said a word!!!!! It's not such a biggie anymore, really!!

This over 40 section had had alot of grads... Did Terryann confirm her latest pregnancy? If so, it's Terryann (46), yourself, Csmiles (45), Angushicks, Teeroze, Cagardengirl (44), typinggirl, Loulou, Heatherv8, Mely (41) Issacsmommy (41), that have BFPs [big fat positive - positive pregnancy test].

It's a good ratio for over 40's. If you run into others, send'em over here to give us inspiration.

Count me in for success in the over 40's club. I'm 44 and 19 weeks pregnant. We conceived naturally....... with a lot of careful planning & temperature taking of course.... and reading up all the things which may help. This forum is great.... nice to be in touch with others in their 40's instead of all the young ones! - Sheryl

Hi I am new here and just got my BFP [big fat positive - positive pregnancy test] this morning. I am very excited because I have had several BFPs over the last few years, with two that moved on to 6 weeks to 9 1/2 weeks (pregnant) only to lose them.

The other BFPs only were there until I was a few days late for AF [Aunt Flo - period]. I had to go to doctor because we thought something else was going on to produce all of these BFPs... lo and behold... they say I'm fine, that i just need progesterone and all these BFPs are REAL...

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.

Hi, would anyone like to share how many months and months and months it took them to conceive and what their baby regimen was?

I am 43 will be 44 in November 09. I have a 22 year old daugther and 18 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. I am now 5 weeks pregnant with baby number 5 (my first child was stillborn). My husband is 60 and we conceived naturally in the third month of TTC. My periods have always been very regular and monitoring my CM was the most important thing I did to know when I was ovulating.
