My boyfriend's mom was pregnant at 47
My boyfriend's mother was pregnant with him at age 47. Docs told her she might want to consider not going through with the pregnancy (This was 38 years ago).
She probably thought they were right, when she gave birth the natural way to all 10+ lbs of him. I figure this just means he's been a pain to women all his life.

She also said our great grandma had her 11th child (OK, so she was really fertile!) at 44 or 45. So, while it CAN be done the odds are not high.
And, of course, they’re really not high for a 25 year old -- they only have a 25% chance on any given month. I read a really good article online that said humans are not efficient at reproduction and not to feel bad about it!

I do have a dancer friend who I took classes with in New York City who conceived at 45 (almost was 46) with no drugs, nothing... baby was born healthy. I really think it is a month to month things with our eggs and that is why some months do better with numbers and eggs than others.

My RE is fantastic with age. Before I had my retrieval on Monday, he told me that in his office, he has had one 45 year old (had twins), one 46 year old (single birth), and one 47 year old (single birth) - all with their own eggs, and he was very optimistic with me (my follicles were all 20, 24, 26 - and he retrieved 6 eggs).

Talked to my neighbour.. Her grandmother had her mother at 48. She had 10 children, and she also had one at 44... All natural..
Even mentioned this to RE today and he said mostly genetic background (strong past genes) and that it can very well happen!! Any of your have parents, grandparents, great-grandparents having kids late... Check it out
