They were NOT planning on having children at 46
I just met someone YESTERDAY that was 47 and has a 1 year old. My 1st cousin who I know well and trust told me that this women had been dating this man for many years and they were about to be married, when she found out she was pregnant.
They were NOT planning on having children and she didn't think she could even HAVE children. My cousin said they did not do IUI, IVF, donor egg.... They just had S-E-X!!!

My mom was the last of 7 children..... Her mom had her when she was 44, so I know things do happen later in life.

I'm an RN in Obstetrics and it's absolutely possible for women in their 40's to become pregnant on their own. It happens all of the time.

I did IVF when I was 46/47 with my own eggs. I lost twins in my last cycle, I was 47.4 yrs of age.

My grandmother was 46 when she had my dad in 1927, her 10th child. I am so glad she did!!
