A friend conceived at the age of 47
My counsellor told me a friend of hers conceived at the age of 47! Her daughter is 23 years old now, so there is hope for us all.

My sister had an unplanned baby at 45. Though she already had children who were in their teens.

Yes, a relative of mine (distant sadly) had her last baby at 47! So there is hope for us Golden Oldies yet!

I just want to say that my mother did, and I was born when she was 46. Her first and only child. I think however that it is possible, but rare, and certainly not something I have inherited from her. She smoked, drank, and was a bit overweight, and apparently did not have an active sex life with my dad. Beat all the odds, really. I think it is probably one of those things that happens by chance, naturally.

One of my work colleagues conceived at 45 - but had a series of miscarriages before that - around 7. Never had any problem conceiving, but problems continuing the pregnancy.
