Blessed to be pregnant naturally at 47

Image: Sweet Baby Face, by Hua Zhan on PixabayI had my first baby, who is now 5 years old when I was 41 years old.

I am now 47 years old, and I am blessed to say I am pregnant naturally again.

I had had subsequent pregnancies following the birth of my first son, sadly ending in miscarriage.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am 48 years old (already).
I had no plans to be pregnant in this lifetime (enjoying a single life).
But it happened recently - I had a wonderfully romantic summer vacation...
No idea what to do now, when I realized I am pregnant.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Wondering if there is anyone else who conceived naturally at almost 46 years old.

I just turned 46 years old, and I am almost seven weeks pregnant.

It only took me two months to get pregnant.

And if there is anyone who is trying, I want to let you know it is very possible.

We didn't have any problems getting pregnant.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I became pregnant by a slim chance - only one unprotected moment with my boyfriend when I was 47 years old.
I wasn't trying to conceive.
The pregnancy and birth were healthy and we had no problems to complain of.
Today I have a beautiful little boy who is four months old.
I also have a daughter who will be 22 years old in August, and another one who will be 20 years old in May.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I'm 44 years old and 30 weeks pregnant.

I was pregnant last year for the first time on our honeymoon.

I was amazed at being pregnant just two months without birth control.

Unfortunately, I lost the baby at 15 weeks.

This affected me greatly and then I was on a mission to get pregnant again.

Since this is our first baby, a part of me would like to have another baby.

So I suppose, if all goes well, I'd be around 45-46 years old when this baby is born

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
