I am now 47 & I am blessed to say I am pregnant naturally again

I had my first baby, who is now 5, when I was 41 years old. I am now 47 and I am blessed to say that I am pregnant naturally again after 3 subsequent pregnancies after the birth of my son.

I am 48 (already). I had no plan to be pregnant in this life time (enjoying a single life). But it happened recently - I had a romantic summer vacation... No idea what to do when I realized that I am pregnant.

Wondering if there's anyone else that conceived naturally at almost 46. I just turned 46 and am almost 7 weeks pregnant. It took me 2 months to get pregnant. And if there is anyone who is trying want to let you know that is it very possible. We didn't have any problems.

I became pregnant by a slim chance - only one unprotected moment with my boyfriend at 47. I wasn't trying to conceive. The pregnancy and birth were healthy and no problems to complain of. Today I have a beautiful little boy who is 4 months old, I have a daughter who will be 22 in August and one 20 in May. - Gertrude

I'm 44 years old and 30 weeks pregnant. I was pregnant last year for the first time on our honeymoon. I was amazed at being pregnant just two months without birth control. Unfortunately I lost the baby at 15 weeks. This affected me greatly and then I was on a mission to get pregnant again. Since this is our first baby, a part of me would like to have another and so I supposed, if all goes well, I'd be around 45-46 yrs old - Nina

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
