Found myself pregnant with 4th child at 44 years
I amazingly found myself pregnant with my forth child at 44 years. My others were 11, 14, and 15. I was very concerned about the pregnancy, getting back in shape, and especially others reactions. I will admit I got very tired of all the "I'm glad it's you and not me" comments but the pregnancy actually went easier than my third! I now have a wonderful blessing who is 5 months old and was in my pre-preg jeans within a week! Your age is really just a number.

I have one daughter age 28 from a previous relationship and didn't think I would ever have kids again. That was 20 years ago, then in 1999 I delivered my daughter 2 months shy of my 42 birthday and in 2003 when I was 46 had a healthy baby boy. Both pregnancies came about on their own without fertility treatments and both pregnancies went well.

My last child was born when I was 44 years old. I knew the risks. Thankfully, he was born with no problems, but if there were problems, I know God would have helped me deal with it.

Alison of New York became a mom at 44, Olivia, 10 months:
I ended up meeting a great guy and getting married at 40. My husband was certain he wanted to have a baby; I was a little less sure. I worried, "Am I too old? Am I too set in my ways?" We decided to try, and we conceived right away. Luckily, my pregnancy was easy, and I felt great the whole time.

Morgan of Washington, became a mom at 51, Auriel, 2 1/2 :
When I got married for the second time, at 44, I knew I wanted to have a baby and was running out of time. I got pregnant right away but had a miscarriage. After that, I thought it was too late to conceive naturally, and we decided against any kind of fertility treatments. But six years later, this pregnancy just happened -- and it came as a total surprise. We both were thrilled!
