Well, one great grandmother [had her last child] at age 46 (her fifteenth!), the other great grandmother at 41, and grandmother at 43. I hope they are sending me fertile vibes from on high.

My Grandmother had my mom and her twin brother when she was 45. They were the last of 8.

My mother had her last (9th) child at 41. Her mother had her last (also 9th) child at 46.
I had my first child at 41 - what a slacker, lol. Susan - Me 44/DH 46, EDD 9/25/05 It's a girl!

On the plus side, my girlfriend's sister got pregnant at 46 and her periods had already stopped! She was really shocked. She has a beautiful daughter now.

My grandmother had her last kid at 43. My aunt (mom's sister) had her last kid at 42. Another aunt (dad's sister) had her last kid at 46.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
