I just wanted to say that I conceived last year when I was 48 and had stopped ttc!!

I was recently pregnant at 46 but unfortunately I lost my baby. I haven't given up. As Mel says just take good care of yourself and you may find yourself pleasantly surprised.

I've just turned 46 and had my little boy at 44. I have been pregnant 3 times since then but sadly had 3 miscarriages but have been told that these were not necessarily age related.

I know two women who have had babies at 45 & 46 respectively

It can be done......I had my little girl 4 months ago and I turned 47 last week. I had mentally given up on conceiving as I had a 2 year gap since my last miscarriage and was approaching my 46th birthday, I must have actually conceived on or around my birthday!

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
