A couple in our parish had been married 22 years and TTC [trying to conceive] for 22 years.

Shortly after their 22nd wedding anniversary, she found out she was pregnant for the first time.

She was 45 years old.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I do have one friend who claims to have had IVF [in vitro fertilization] success with her own eggs at 48 years old!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I personally know one close friend, as well as one acquaintance who both got pregnant with IVF at 43 years old, and delivered a beautiful baby girl each at 44 years old.

I know my friend got pregnant on her first try.

Her baby is now about 5 months old, and she is gearing up to try again at 44 years old.

The other acquaintance also got pregnant at 43 years old with IVF.

I don't know as much about her story, but, from what I understand, she also got pregnant on the first try with IVF.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A girlfriend of mine had had two horrible miscarriages (one was at 5 months, and she nearly bled to death).
Then, after seeing an acupuncturist and taking herbs, she got pregnant and gave birth at 43 years old!
She has a beautiful healthy daughter, and it was all natural!
About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
