Sue Adlam, 46, a primary teacher, and her husband Andrew, 39, from Wiltshire, have a three-year-old daughter, Georgina, conceived using donor eggs. Desperate for a sibling for her, they are searching for another egg donor.

"I couldn't have loved my own biological child more. She knows that Mummy really wanted a baby but didn't have an egg, so a nice lady gave me one of hers."

December 9, 2011 - We are so excited, the Duggar mother, 45, who is three-and-a-half months along, told the mag. I feel good. I am past the sickness stage now.

It is a miracle. Josie is the most energetic, busy little almost-2-year-old, Michelle told the mag. She is short, and yet she can keep up with the big girls and she thinks she is just as big as they are. We are amazed at what she can do.

According to dad Jim Bob, his wife is doing better than ever.

Michelle is probably in better health now than she was 10 years ago, the 46-year-old said. She has been getting on an elliptical for about an hour a day and is very careful of what she eats.

I feel like my heart broke telling my children, Michelle told People magazine. The Duggars announced their pregnancy publicly last month on TODAY.

PAMELA Butler may be the UK’s oldest surrogate mum but she’s not the first to help out a daughter.

Cases of daughters asking their mums to become surrogates are rare, but in 2001 Vivien Morris, 54, gave birth to her own grand-daughter.

Her daughter Laura Westrop, 29, was unable to carry a baby after treatment for cervical cancer. So Vivien, a playgroup worker from London, volunteered to help Laura and her husband Mark.

In 2005, 53-year-old Annie Casserley gave birth for her daughter Emma Hattersley, who was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer when she was 19, and son-in-law Andrew.

Liz Buttle, from near Lampeter in West Wales, became the UK’s oldest mum at 60 when she gave birth to a son called Joseph in 1997. She now lives in Ireland.

Elizabeth Adeney of Lidgate, Suffolk, is Britain’s oldest mum after giving birth to a boy in May 2009, aged 66.

In 2015, there were 224,938 live births in the United States to women ages 40 through 54.

754 of those live births to women 50-54 years old.

In 2014, there were only 783 live births to women over 43, using donor eggs...

On April 23 1997, it was announced that a woman, who had no children and was married to a 60 year old husband, had successfully undergone a delivery of a 6 pound 4 ounce baby girl after an in vitro fertilization and frozen embryo transfer.

Though the assisted reproduction program where the transfer and followup was done had set age 55 as the maximum age for the procedure, it appeared that the woman represented herself as 10 years younger than her real age. After she became pregnant did she admit she was 63 years old.

BEIJING (BNO NEWS) — A 60-year-old retired woman has given birth to two baby girls in east China, according to state-run media on Thursday, making her the country’s oldest mother on record.

The girls were born prematurely in a hospital in Hefei, the capital of East China’s Anhui province, on Tuesday, 34 weeks after the unidentified woman successfully received in-vitro fertilization (IVF). She was only identified as Cheng Lin, a pseudonym.
