My youngest was born when I was 44 years old.

My youngest child was born when I was 44 years old. We didn't receive any negative comments, but then people weren't too surprised since he was my tenth and everyone was quite used to me having babies! There were no health problems with the baby, and my pregnancy, labour and delivery went very well.

Hi, my last two were at 41 and 44. I had no problems that were too different from the other ones.

I amazingly found myself pregnant with my forth child at 44 years. My others were 11, 14, and 15. I was very concerned about the pregnancy, getting back in shape, and especially others reactions. I will admit I got very tired of all the "I'm glad it's you and not me" comments, but the pregnancy actually went easier than my third!

I just approved an "application" the other day for a woman age 47, who just had a BFP - and in total shock

After two miscarriages, 3 IVF's and the arrival of our first daughter Katie from Russia (2004), I found out I was pregnant naturally immediately after bringing our daughter Katie home at eight months old and after 8 years of trying! I was also 4 weeks short of my 45th birthday when Alyssa was born. I never gave up thinking that I could have this baby!

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost our precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted there will be no more babies in our house.
