Here we were, 46y & 44y pregnant at same time!

I won’t go through the rest of the details but this pregnancy was a celebration for us and another special aspect was my best girlfriend, who was 44 years old, was also pregnant at the same time with her and her husband’s first child! So here we were, one 46 year old and one 44 year old both pregnant at the same time! Spencer was born August 12, 2001 – a perfect, beautiful child and is the joy of our lives.

I am currently 14 weeks pregnant. I got pregnant at 43 years 5 months, so it can certainly happen! By the way, I was not on any meds or any interventions - all natural.

My mom's mom had her first child at 38, and proceeded to have three more children, each two years apart. So, she was 44 when she had her last child (my younger aunt). And this was back in the mid-40s/early 50s, before there were any kinds of fertility treatment!

My grandmother had my dad, her last child (6 total), at age 46. I don't think you should worry so long as your cycles are normal.

I am 45 and just had my first child. Me and my husband tried for 7 years and then one day we were blessed with a child. My aunt had a child at 55 years old. I think birth is wonderful at any age. My grandmother was 52 when she had my dad. Women have been having children at older ages for years.
