People said I must have been mad to have baby Jake at my age, but I was healthy and felt ready, so I followed my heart.

Steve and I met in our forties.

I had been told I couldn't have more children, but I became pregnant by accident when I was 45 years old.

But we had a miscarriage at 12 weeks, and then had 7 more losses.

We are relishing the thought of teaching Jake everything we know.

We want him to have a full and fantastic life.
